We're making it look very difficult to bat on. Wonder if de Kock's knock will be the difference between the two sides?

Sibley was exposed after about half an hour of test cricket against NZ, bowlers know him now.

The step up from opening at county cricket and test level is just too great. Burns has managed to bridge the gap and made runs but he is the exception rather than the rule. The continuing revolving door policy of trying county championship openers isn't working.

Our longstanding problems at the top of the order continue and have gone on since Strauss retired and Cook lost his partner.

Too much bottom hand brings that inherent weakness outside off stump, test bowlers were quick to work him out and now he's a walking wicket.
