I don't mean this sarcasticly , if you don't see what he gives you on a football pitch then Iam waisting my time discussing it with you if you don't rate his ability , I know he's a pain in the jacksie but I feel he is real quality , for City playing wide left he was different class . Scares the life out of full backs and scores goals but hey we all see different things , opinions and all that and I respect yours to so we'll agree to disagree

Didn't Fellaini boss him all over the show a couple years back? Donovan and Captain Pip had him screaming in frustration if I remember correct..

My only quarrel with him is his wages and injury problems. <- both big big problems mind you.

Felli done a cruyf turn on him and a major one at that haha , but big Felli could do that to anyone , I think he's far better than Donavon , more aggressive and more of a leader figure plus similar in age correct me if Iam wrong , but I know what you mean regarding his wages like but I would love him at Everton I think club and player would be made for each other , he's also calmed a bit with regards to snarling with players I think more grown up now

Wages are just too much. Injury issues are too frequent. We have enough problems with injuries as is. Let him rob City for another year.

Bell....move on.

Oh, and it is officially transfer season now we have resurrected his thread.

It's ok for him to say he cant take a drop in wages but unless he stays at City there isnt one club who will pay him what he currently earns-he must realise that, so if the money is more important then he can see out his contract at City with a guarantee of never playing.

I personally would like to see him here (providing the wages are reasonable) as he has pace which we seriously lack, he knows where the goal is, he's versatile which would give us options on the left and he hates losing. I like the fact that he has a nasty streak in him.

He's just done what Rooney will do at the age of 32 - go back to his old club as long as he's still on the same money, then when that isn't possible just run down the biggest contracts you can get off any club foolish enough to employ you till you can retire aged 36.

He does not care about football anymore. It'd be an unbelievably stupid signing if we brought him in, as he'd simply make his debut, pick up a mysterious "groin strain" or six and be sold on at a loss after making six starts next season.

Moyes has built up a side based on work ethic and determination - why blow that apart on a mediocre injury prone arse bandit on mega wages?

Beggars belief... I'm convinced just because we haven't signed anybody yet that panic stations have already arrived for some and you're losing the plot.

That post is laughable , " Moyes has built a squad on hardworking players who want to win " Craig Bellamy is probably one of the hardest working players I've ever seen he doesn't stop , works his absolute plumbs off , his competitiveness is 10/10 , exactly what Moyes loves , he's had a lot of clubs yeah > so has Tevez who also works his plumbs off , to say a player like Bellamy will come here to just take the money is a poor poor shout IMO the lad breathes , eats and sleeps winning , he plays like a maniac even in Friendly's for Wales

It pains me to say it but if it was a straight choice between having Bellamy or Diniyar starting or on the bench I'd rather have Bellamy. It goes without saying that 80k is just laughable so it'd probably be as a loan unless he can lower his crazy wage demands.

well said. but signing bellamy would still be silly in all honesty. age, fee and more.

There's a difference between "hard working" and "aggressive for the sake of being aggressive because he was born a right melon".

If we sign Bellamy (which thankfully we won't), he'll be injured within three games and go on holiday for a few months.

The lad picks up injuries yes , but he plays on average 20+ league games in a season i'd say of the top of my head , but hey let's get a bit of realism here fella's , next season would we have a better chance going to wolves and West Brom away with him in our team than without , Iam with you's on the point I wouldn't be paying him silly money , and I don't think you would have to pay a large transfer fee too , I maybe wrong but I think Moyes could handle his personality far easier than what Roberto pretty boy how's my side part looking Manchiny ( excuse that spelling ) but going back> will there be plenty of other options ??? My gut feeling is we won't even be able to do this never mind better targets with more clubs to compete with :-(

I think the wages issue is a bit of a red herring,City don't want him and Bellamy will not be joining any other club if he demands extravagant wages.City may however arrange some kind of pay-off with him, just so that he would leave and that would allow other clubs to deal with the player on more realistic terms.

When Everton are linked with possible targets, the question I always ask is , is this player better than what we have, will he improve the team. In Bellamys case the answer must be yes.He is a pacy ,hardworking winger with an aggressive attitude. The downside is that we know he has problems with his knees. We know what age he is,but if injuries don't interfere there is no reason why he wouldn't get another two or three years at the top.

Yes,for me,but the terms have to be right.

I think, the wages issue apart, we should take him. Not because he's the ideal candidate to join the team, but with our finances and his ability, we have no choice.

He's a crock guys we don't need another injury prone player especially a 31year old, i'l forget my own personal views on the guys and talk about reasons why its just not a feasible option as many already have posted.

Injury prone, gets banned fairly often, has exteremly high wages for a player of his calibre, didn't dominate the championship players so can't think why people think he will terrorise prem defences, he would upset the dressing room, probably clash with moyes(as he did a couple of years ago when we tried to sign), he is 31 his main attribute is pace, pace is the first attribute you lose when you start hitting your 31-34 years therefore this player is a no go on so many levels its unreal. All you who want him are panicking already for a name and this is not the name we need or want.
