A Chicago hospital treating severe Covid-19 patients with Gilead's remdesivir is seeing rapid recoveries in fever and respiratory symptoms, STAT has learned.

Talksport has been brilliant.

Spoke to my brother for the first time in years, (weddings/funerals etc notwithstanding) and we had a nice chat. We dont not get on, we just have an awkward age difference so were not close as kids, and have zero in common, other than the same parents. Wouldnt have happened without this stuff.

Similar thing here too. Still not exactly chummy, but spoken more than in a while.

That's defo a positive out of this mess. I'm sure that's repeated x millions all over the world.

It's nice to see people almost craving some form of human interaction now when I'm out rather than head down and say nothing. I've said hello to more random strangers in the last few weeks and got a smile and a positive response and it'd be nice if one of the things that sticks around after this is gone is that community feel.

That and stories about the water being clear in Venice and Himalayas now being visible because of reduced pollution are great to see. I fear people will quickly forget and will revert to normal so I'll enjoy this element of it whilst it lasts.

The amount of people out taking up exercise, spending time with family at home, a reduction of stress and reduction of the pressure from work for a while i think can only be a good thing. Think some people hopefully the majority will come out of this with better lifestyle habits and hopefully a better sense of perspective and feeling refreshed when they get back to rigors and constraints of normal life.

Its like the School holidays for adults.
