The west have collapsed the economy and put populations under house arrest for a virus which WHO were absolutely useless on up until mid-Feb, and basing it on techniques which the only 'evidence' of it working comes from China, who are claiming to have less confirmed cases than Italy and just 1,000 more than Spain and a whole 60,000 less than the US, despite having an estimated population of 1.5 billion and being the outbreak of the spread (in a city of 11 million).

I genuinely can't get my head around it.

I was more asking whether you think they are making money out of it, perhaps even profiteering. My view is definitely to the former, quite possibly to the latter.

There’s a lot of stuff doing the rounds that it was all deliberate to knock America off the top spot in the world economy.

Which seems pretty far fetched even for a regime like the Chinese.

Mate, the only thing you've been calling for is the insane idea for care workers to go on strike.

This report was on one of our own news channels, think it was BBC but can't be sure. It appeared to be their own films too with an English accented female doing the voice over. I realise that can be easily faked.

The report was probably 3/4 minutes long and also said the UK had an order in for the ventilators. It seemed genuine

A quick look at the home page of that website makes it clear that it's a tabloid type thing that exists to whip up hysteria.

I never advocated that. Quite frankly you're a liar and manipulated my words. I'm going to repeat this again, as a worker you have every right to bargain for your wage. That's capitalism. Collective bargaining is not insane it's called negotiation. If you are not familiar with these terms, frankly that's your ignorance.
