Its always those who live in the free democracy of Western Society that yearn for CCP eque society.

To expand on what @MarcelsGoat said though, someone can already track what you read online, where you go and what you spend your money on - and you pay them for the priviledge of doing this. Hundreds of thousands of people have microphones in their house and cameras on their doors to see who comes around.

Indeed that boat has well sailed. But these things happen step by step. You understand what happened in Germany in the 30’s (sorry @roydo , it’s just a point) and I would not like to see similar happening here just because of a disease that many of us may already have had.......

It goes much deeper than that, they tell us what to buy, who to vote for and how we should act and have been doing that for the last 100 years or so.

We gave up all our rights from the day the first newspaper was printed, then TV took over and now its the internets turn.

Imagine still thinking we had freedom of thought in 2020.
