@BlueToff I see the Government are now saying not to drive places to exercise or dog walk.

I mean wtf its ten times riskier walking through your busy housing estate than going for a run or taking your dog for a walk in some rural field.

Wont be long before we are in total lockdown imo.

I had to stop taking my dogs out for a quick late night walk and piss here as it's dodgy sometimes late on.
You do have a point with this.
My dads dogs need proper exercise not a quick spin round the block.

Just got a letter from our brewers saying that they will replace all casks and kegs that are out of date when we come out of this free of charge. Coupled with the 80% wages for our now furloughed staff, this won’t be as bad as I first expected, economy wise. Now I just need everyone to stay well.......

May I ask which brewer, mate? Totally understand if that is sensitive info though.

Hope you and family fight it off without to much discomfort mate
Ta mate.

Just a tip for those with kids.
When I checked my youngest temp this morning and saw how high it was I shouted it downstairs to the Mrs and asked her to come and look.
Now, my lad then burst into tears and legged it to his room.
The kids have only seen people dying and warnings on the telly for weeks and at school before it closed.

Keep a straight face in front of the kids if you can.

My kids have grown up now but the little ones must be scared stiff.
As you say people should try not to panic in front of them, easier said than done I know.

Aye mate we have a Doberman and she needs to be off lead for a good run she cant cope with a 10 minute walk around the block.

That's very generous of them.

It’s good business. We will have about ten days stock of beer, the cost to the brewery is less than 25% to manufacture, so it’s about 2-3 days of our cost to them. We sell their beer for 365 days a day and will do every year. It’s a no brainer really. Similarly, if we had not gone into full lockdown, we would have given it away as a bonus to our customers who help us 365 days a year......
