So if you either get it real bad, or already have or have had a hypoxic type condition?

I think its that you've had it and its either real bad or it hasn't gone away - I know they were advising people who thought they'd had it to contact 111 if it hadn't gone after 7 days.

Googled it still none the wiser
Can you explain it in layman's terms
I firmly believe when we eventually reach the end of this pandemic we are heading into the greatest financial recession of the last 40 years if not a depression

Perhaps, though this is an unrivalled opportunity to put in the necessary reforms that will be required to cope with crises like this and climate change. The unsustainability of the West trying to get ever increasing wages, ever increasing standards of living, ever increasing consumption and ever decreasing production was always going to become clear sooner rather than later anyway.

They'll probably try and further enrich themselves though.

Do you expect to see an increase from 600k deaths this year as a result of Covid, And if you do, give me a ball park figure of the morbidity rate. Have I just entered the twilight zone?

"The overall figures are what you'd expect" Are you on drugs? This is a pandemic that has never been faced before, furthermore. We are not testing. I'm going to repeat that. We are not testing. How can you predict overall figures if you are not testing. If you don't have the data??? Seriously, what are you on about.

And yes they are modeling for that. I gave you the link. Morbidity figures are in the millions.

You havn't read a word I typed, or, if you did, you didn't process them in your brain.
I'm sorry, but I can't explain what I said in any simpler terms so I'd be wasting my time trying again.

As for the link you shared, all that does is extrapolate forward for a given R value to come up with numbers. That's all well and good, but it's also a massive oversimplification and assumes everything just carries on "as is".

I come into contact with thousands everyday. Genuinely.
We only started safe distance properly yesterday.
Without being funny ,with your job you were a prime candidate to become infected
Hopefully you and your family only get mild symptoms
As the ad says
Look after yourselves and we will look after the shelves

Dodged the ITV question on who will take charge is Boris isn't fit too.
It was mentioned earlier that it would be the Foreign Secretary (Raab), which is actually common practice, but I suspect the dodging was for one primary reason.

They'll be very worried that it will be spreading through the cabinet, so if they say it's Raab and gets it (errrr... if he already hasn't) then it'll cause more concern etc.

People want stability and leadership at this time, so flipping between leaders after they're diagnosed - a strong possibility - isn't going to give this.

I was reliably told that Johnson's post today was pre-recorded that it was deemed likely that he'd get it at some point, for a number of reasons.

What I find odd is how many famous people are getting the virus and are fine with it. Whether it's Idris Elba, Tom hanks, probably now Boris Johnson.

I did have a feeling Johnson would catch it at some point, just a matter of time before it was announced.

But yeah, many cases in hospital all over the world with the virus yet not a single famous person has ended up there. Just strikes me as a little odd.

I'm not saying they don't have it neither. Given the perspective media wise that it is almost like a plague of sorts, it's odd that they don't have a famous person as poster child for how bad this is, only us normal people
Some American actor died from covid 19 a couple of days ago
Fairly well known too
