If that pans out in human trials, Riverside will be pushing Berkeley and UCLA for supremacy in the UC system, because they will have stupid levels of funding from that patent. A license on every vaccine produced worldwide? My God.

The serious side effect cited affected 1-2 people in every 100,000 and the benefits far outweigh that. It’s now not as effective as newer vaccines which have updated to cover new strains so they’ve withdrawn it.

Even before that it was pretty much withdrawn in the uk, as the other ones had better efficacy / less risk profile.
