I've made the most of my social gatherings, concerts, festivals etc since the lockdowns got released (more than most probably), but I've done it in the full knowledge of the risk I'm taking - some of the studies out there make it VERY clear what the virus does to you, regardless of age and vaccination status in a lot of cases too.Big problems with damaged spleens I'm hearing going forwards. All ages all health types regardless of how illCOVID made the person. The idiot's of let it rip I want my social gathering might end up with life changing health problems. Hope it was worth it!

'The virus is still evolving at an incredible rate': How widespread is COVID now - and how many people are dying with it?
After four years of COVID, the virus is still affecting people in ways scientists are only just beginning to fully understand - and impacting the NHS.news.sky.com
I don't think everyone who doesn't actively read into this stuff has been given the opportunity to make an informed decision, as shown by that part of the article being buried near the bottom and those studies generally not getting the publicity they should.
I'm very much behind personal decision making, but it should be informed and the mechanisms should be there to avoid covid if you want to. The death data is flawed, in that you have to have an active covid infection or be admitted with one to go down as dying from it, but it causes so much else longer term (and shorter term like strokes and heart attacks) that its clearly the cause of all these excess deaths.
