Thanks, it’s not so much Covid, although it was the trigger, as the long term physical (to a lesser degree) and mental effects (to a much greater degree) that’s the issue. My friends all know and see what’s happening with my wife and I do have wonderful support. It just gets a bit on top every now and again….

TBH, I don’t give a crap anymore. My wife and I have suffered through this period and she is suffering in a way that I didn’t expect and am struggling to cope with. If Covid now takes us both then so be it, at least it’s done and we go together, we had a good life…..,

Ah so people have life changing issues and some being disabled by the vaccine is guff?

Why would anybody need to watch a one hour video to know people had adverse reactions or died from having the vaccine ?

It's a risk having a vaccine but that risk pales into insignificance compared if you don't have it.

At the end of the day you pays your money and you takes your choice. Ask the thousands of fairly young and healthy people who were struggling to breathe right before they died and I'm fairly sure they would have had the vaccine.

I don`t think anyone young died from coiveds except those with underlying conditions, severe co-morbidity issues etc

Anyone on here still not caught it yet?

Got it about a month ago from a night on the town I assume.

Was alright except the chesty cough that seemed to linger for ages and the sore throat was irritating.

Haven`t had a it, never wore a mask etc etc, went round my mum and dads regular and they`ve never had a problem with it either
A friend had it bad, she`s a nurse. My step-daughter got it but other than that the whole family have been ok.
I think keeping yourself fit and healthy is the main thing, if you eat McD`s etc all the time you`re asking for trouble.

Tell that to my mate Chris who lost his partner Elle who was only 41 and fit and healthy ?‍

Feels less debilitating than last time, annoyed at myself for putting off my booster, though I suppose now I may aswell put it off until December. I find sleeping with those nazal strips helps, my kidneys feel a bit tender and a head cold but so far so good.

Most important thing is people I came into contact with seem fine so far, there was a girl I was er 'a lot' more intimate with on Friday than my parents who I saw the same day and she is all clear so fingers crossed I wasn't contagious then.

We were at a vaccination place at the weekend getting the flu jab and I was going to ask for the booster at the same time, but the wife said you need to wait a few months after testing negative so they wouldn't have given me it anyway. Not sure what the precise period was. Three months vaguely rings a bell.
