TBH, I don’t give a crap anymore. My wife and I have suffered through this period and she is suffering in a way that I didn’t expect and am struggling to cope with. If Covid now takes us both then so be it, at least it’s done and we go together, we had a good life…..,

Just tested positive of course, I've no doubt it was the selfish scumbag on the train. I also saw my parents yesterday so now I have that to worry about. I had no symptoms yesterday and took a test before I saw them just in case, but now my diabetic dad could catch it from me. This is exactly how you can make a positive difference by acting with some social responsibility, but of course large sections of society have allowed themselves to be gaslight into thinking wearing a mask when ill is a deep state conspiracy.

Not had it as far as I know. Certainly never had any symptoms or tested positive. Wife and eldest daughter have had it and tested positive but me and the youngest not. I know I’ve just jinxed myself for about of it in the next few weeks.

Sorry to hear you sounding so defeatist Pete. Everyone’s suffered, although to different degrees of course. Look after your missus mate, and reach out to those around you to help if you need it. Nothing wrong with that.

Thanks, it’s not so much Covid, although it was the trigger, as the long term physical (to a lesser degree) and mental effects (to a much greater degree) that’s the issue. My friends all know and see what’s happening with my wife and I do have wonderful support. It just gets a bit on top every now and again….

DG I have avoided it and have my vaccinations, but both my wife and daughter, both nurses, have had their share. Thankfully through safefully.

It still tees me off that people don't wear masks in places like supermarkets and stand way too close.

I really hope you both feel better soon. Really enjoy the banter with you.

Did you ask the "nurses" who "tested" you if the tests were reliable? - If they were honest they would tell you "just because you tested negative you could still be positive and even if you tested positive you could still be negative"- Translation, the "tests" don`t work. A geezer i worked for told me that on the morning he was given the all-clear.
Listen mate, i don`t like it that people get sick but that`s life so don`t start bitching to me when you haven`t got a clue about me or my circumstances.
Do yourself a favour, stop listening to the MSM and look up some proper facts/data etc.
