Not at all. See my previous posts in this thread for my opinions on the vaccines. Never at any point suggested they don’t work, but I don’t understand where people are coming from when they demand we tighten restrictions despite having an effective vaccine inside 90% of the population, on top of natural immunity seeing as most of the population have had the virus.

Yeah I've had the bugger twice, though I'll admit it was next to nothing the second time after the vaccines. It's the ones at risk you feel sorry for, it must be like a life sentence.

Never had it also, touch wood. I don’t think they need to do expensive research to find out why I never got it. It’s easy….live like a hermit for two years lol

I finally got it and mine has been nothing more than a normal cold (not even a 'bad' one)

Most annoying part for me is that I'm isolating from everyone, as obv my kid getting it will turn into a childcare nightmare so we're trying to avoid that.

I reckon I'll be better in a day or so, yet stuck in this room for a few more days. Oh well, could have been loads worse I guess

also, you can as careful not to catch it as you can. but i'm pretty sure i caught it off a mate who offered me a biscuit as he tested positive the next day lol

We haven't been fully hermits but like many, we have been very cautious since Covid began. We have yet to eat at a restaurant indoors, have not even been back to the cinema and until recently were still wearing mask anytime we were indoors, although the rates of infection at the moment are below 4% in our area so right now we are taking a break from face coverings. And while cautious we also traveled to Costa Rica in December so have been at the airport and last year when we went to Orlando to see Everton so we were at the parks and at the stadium with large crowds of people. So we haven't been completely hermit that's why I'm happily surprised none of us (hubby or daughter) have gotten it yet.

I'm glad your symptoms are mild, may the continue that way ?? I'm sure being isolated from your girls must be annoying, but you are doing right by trying to avoid passing it to them.
