Must be - mix of that and those still eligible for PCR. I viewed a house the other week and the guy who lived there had a stack of them big enough for at least a few months even if he was doing them daily

Our business got a large box of boxes. Must have 100 x 7 test packs here still..

I still laugh that all these tester sets the whole world has paid billions and billions of pounds for are all Chinese made! Hmmmmmm

Fed up with people not wearing masks in supermarkets and not distancing at checkout. I have not said anything to someone yet but my patience is wearing.

Our CMO, Tony Houlihan, has packed it in and gone into academia at my Alma mater TCD.

I worked closely with him when I was in the Department of Health. He is very impressive, straight as a die and brutally honest.

He has done a superb job trying to steer this county through CV. He lost his lovely wife to cancer last year.

I wish him the very best in his new job. One of the finest civil servants I ever worked with.

I intermittently take the train to work, mask usage is about 20%.

Had decided if I was going to continue wearing one myself, which I do, then I would have to do it properly and upgrade to FFP3.

They don't come cheap. But I might as well at least try to protect myself, given the majority of others are not concerned about protecting themselves or me.

When I said idiots it was referring to those NOT wearing them. As expected, loads not wearing them and not observing distancing. Even some check out operators. I know it must be very uncomfortable wearing them for hours on end, and they are behind screens, so I can have sympathy.

Annoyed when clowns with no mask come right beside me. Still holding my temper and have not reacted verbally although I have given my notorious glare.

I'm fairly sure ffp3 is for fine particulates and doesn't provide viral protection.. it's been a while since I last did face fitting on a site..

Does the thickness of the line mean anything? I've tested positive since Wednesday and the line is still dead thick and prominent - I had heard it tends to fade away over days.

Been testing positive for 12 days. All the first week’s tests were immediate bold red lines. Last couple of days they got fainter, today all clear.

Oh damn, that's a long time. My girlfriend had it last week (suspect she passed it onto me!!) and it took 6 days between first positive test and first negative.

How you been feeling?

Trying to look for positives, at least I don't have to go and watch that shower of bottlers tomorrow.

I don't know for sure but I thought it must have meant something. Mine was a thick red line for the first couple of times I tested, then got very faint, then disappeared a couple of days later when I was clear. I felt much more sick when the line was thicker, and was pretty much fine when it was only a faint red line.

Felt really rotten for 2-3 days after testing positive, then it eased to a combination of mega hangover / rotten cold which then gradually eased again in tandem with the line becoming fainter.

I’ve tested a few times in the last couple of days hoping for a neg result, knowing that I still have minor cold like symptoms, but the tests still showed faint pos until today’s neg.

Hopefully you get to the neg stage quicker.
