I think this current wave will be higher than anything we've had before.. it's all over the place currently!Back to normal? What with around 1.5 M infected people around at the end of last week.
Back to normal? with so many sick people in the population.
I have family in Liverpool and in Bristol and both lots have had illness among them in the past week.

As much if not more chance here unless you've shut yourself awayI stupidly booked a trip to Copenhagen this weekend where I think there are no restrictions at all. Pretty sure I'm going to come back with it but will try my best not to
I live in Germany but yeah it's pretty much the same here too. Just more restrictions here which make you feel a bit safer in certain situations. But numbers sky high here too so makes no difference reallyAs much if not more chance here unless you've shut yourself away
I just hope the investment is still there for virologists and research etc, but with this government once its out the headlines they simply don't careNot sure where we go from here except try to encourage people to have top up boosters but I can’t honestly see the Government ever doing another lockdown, I don’t think the majority of the public would comply with it this time, especially after all the rule breaking from the Government themselves.
Glad you're alright mate.Well after about 6 days of it, I'm feeling alright this evening. No bad cough thankfully, heavy cold symptoms, scratchy throat, shivers, achy, feeling really spacy at times, but generally just knackered, even now. Not fun at all, 'bit of a cold' it ain't.
I tell you this, I'm in reasonable shape, not yet 50, I've likely had the milder strain, am double vaxxed and boosted and it still gave me a kickin'.
Would not have fancied this pre-vaccine, reckon I might have been in bad shape y'know.
Anyone questioning the lockdowns before the rollout or not getting jabbed needs their head looking at.

Jabs for the vulnerable and older people, and anyone who wants it. Similar to flu. How often is the big question. The makeup of those current vaccines means every 3 months for everyone forever otherwise. Not sustainable or necessary reallyNot sure where we go from here except try to encourage people to have top up boosters but I can’t honestly see the Government ever doing another lockdown, I don’t think the majority of the public would comply with it this time, especially after all the rule breaking from the Government themselves.
I think we're beyond that now - vaccine passes don't prove anything - its so transmissible. I'd venture they make things worse now to be honest with a false sense of security.I live in Germany but yeah it's pretty much the same here too. Yeah you're probably right TBHI think we're beyond that now - vaccine passes don't prove anything - its so transmissible. I'd venture they make things worse now to be honest with a false sense of security.

No idea. Germany has mostly been quite relaxed on re-entering from somewhere else as long as it's not a virus variant area, which I think nowhere is at the moment. Yes I heard the regions will all be doing things differently from now on. Haven't heard the latest on what mine is doing but I guess they will keep some restrictions.Saw the other day that the national restrictions are over but the regional governments are going to be given the decisions on relaxing. At the moment, here in Nord-Rhein Westphalia it is still Boosters or negative test needed to get into restaurants, cafes, etc. It may have changed very recently, though.
Going to the US next month and at this time it is a test out but no test needed on the way back, so hopefully that at least stays the same or gets relaxed further?
