Bloody hell that was a quick reply.??You cancelled all your plans up until March didn’t you? lol
I just didn't book gigs, not that any I wanted actually happened in the end as they postponed themselves!

I went to 4 festivals last summer, including latitude just after the reopening, and quite a few gigs. Plus the football the last couple of games- I've been living my life when allowed. I just don't think it's over. That doesn't stop me enjoying stuffI think you should start enjoying your life again mate. It’s fine, you’re allowed now.
What NHS programmes are you wanting to see be cut to pay for this ability to walk without tiptoeing?May be controversial opinion here, but...
It's about friggin time that restrictions are now a thing of the past and 'living with covid' is now being accepted, IMO. People need to take responsibility for their own lives and act accordingly. We can't tiptoe around it any longer.
The measures introduced for 'containment' with clinical intervention are a pricey option. There is no 'new money' in the NHS.I think you should start enjoying your life again mate. It’s fine, you’re allowed now.

Statement: There's no new money in the NHS, to pay for this expensive political policy.Good job they didn’t sack all the unvaccinated staff in the end then. Maybe they’ll attempt to invest a bit and rebuild it now I guess, or pay the nurses properly...
... I said maybe.

Answer: "Erm...maybe they'll pay the nurses better then. Maybe they'll invest a bit. Good job they didn't get rid of staff*"
*(presumably now we'll cut from a more equitable pool than just the unvaxxed?)
You live in a very simplistic world“There’s no new money in the NHS”
“Maybe they should put more money into the NHS”
“Erm... NO!”
You live in a very simplistic world
Well something will be cut to pay for your enjoyment of living with current levels of Covid.I refuse to accept a world where the CEO of my company got a 29% pay rise this year and my sister who is a frontline nurse is essentially doing to job of two people due to crippled staffing levels and can’t even afford a deposit for a house for at least another year. That may be the world I live in but it’s not the world I want to live in. The NHS has been on the bones of it’s arse since long before Covid unfortunately.

Maybe they should've cut the unvaccinated to pay for it.
