The hospital where my partner works have stopped making lateral flow tests freely available for staff, but are still telling them they need to test twice a week.

Not sure how this is legal really.

And most of those illnesses aren’t even contagious so for something that is the testing is extra beneficial.

I would be amazed if the Tories let Boris remove the option of testing from the vaccine passes. They will either push him towards scrapping the passes altogether or insist testing is kept- don’t forget there’s money to be made getting people to pay for tests. Sunak will like that.

Had both jabs, caught Covid and was fine. No more jabs for me, nobody seems to care about developing treatments or giving advice how to be healthier to avoid being at risk of hospitalisation. Just pharma companies pushing their products at this point… won’t be taking any more jabs from now on. A booster that doesn’t stop transmission or affect the chances of me catching it? I’ll take my chances now thanks.

Same for me, two jabs plus natural immunity from having covid (I've had worse colds) leaves me in a pretty good position, read a couple of articles around this scenario giving you a good level of immunity so don't see the point in the booster. Natural immunity for the win.

We'll find out when they're up for renewal end of this month!

Big test will be when the emergency powers are up for renewal in March...

If someone tries to enter Australia by lying on their visa application, or overstay their visa, then they can be barred for 3 years.
I don't think that applies to this case, so it is just a bit of scaremongering to try and garner sympathy.
