Yeah but it suits a political narrative so it doesn’t really matter if it’s disingenuous. People didn’t get ill in the winter before covid, that’s that. You need to stop “living your life” until the hospitals are empty over winter.

Whilst his story is sad this is definitely true. My nan waited over 6 hours for an ambulance for a serious issue in 2018.
It’s almost like the NHS has been slowly dying since around 2010 or something.
Two things can be true though - that they happened previously and that they are happening more often now.

Is that the very same "critical workers" that the supermarket bosses tried to impose a below inflation three percent pay rise on while two executives of the Company have pocketed thirteen million in the last eighteen months? Surely not...
Mmmm, reckon Boris and the Supermarket employers will not be getting the same cooperation out of those employees this time around...

My next door but one neighbour who was in their 60s called 999 saying she was unable to get her breathe in October just gone. When the ambulance arrived 1.5hrs later, they found she was already dead and had died of heart attack.
