Yeah I totally get that - I doubt Djokovic has any medical exemption that any other player wouldn't have.

Completely disagree. Would say Raducanu before the US open have got an exception for the qualifying of this?

Novak one of the fittest athletes in the world has clearly instructed some doctors and his legal team to fabricate an effective excuse to not get vaccinated and it's had the sign off. Without the advanced team would anyone else be able to do the same? I have my doubts.

What do you mean? I'm agreeing with you.

Like I said, I doubt Djokovic has anything seriously wrong with him that would mean any other player couldn't get in on the same grounds if they were unvaccinated.

think @BlueToff agrees with you there

Imagine he actually catches COVID and has to pull out of the tourn ?

“How do you mean I can't play, I already got an exemption!”
‘Mr. Djokovic, the exemption is not valid in this case, you have to be in quarantine for two weeks, which means you can't play’
“I'm playing anyway, you just hate me!”
‘We're sending in our quarantine unit to collect you’

I thought more might’ve been made of this to encourage people who are needle phobic to be vaccinated. I’m very needle phobic and have avoided needles in the past because of it and find it’s so easy to do just to avoid that anxiety. I spoke to three different nurses on three separate occasions who were all made up I told them I usually pass out on the sight of a needle because it meant they could administer it laying down without me seeing anything. Maybe more needs to be made of the fact that this can happen?
It is apparently very common too and some fairly simple things could be tweaked to address it like making easy to prebook a private area to ease social anxiety and a flat bed to avoid fainting.

Glad you overcame it and got vaccinated!
