The Royal College of Nursing says the NHS can "ill afford" the current level of absences as it called for a "more cautious approach" to COVID restrictions in England.
Reading this it might be worthwhile to consider the tier system as that would resolve local issues in specific NHS trusts.

I thought more might’ve been made of this to encourage people who are needle phobic to be vaccinated. I’m very needle phobic and have avoided needles in the past because of it and find it’s so easy to do just to avoid that anxiety. I spoke to three different nurses on three separate occasions who were all made up I told them I usually pass out on the sight of a needle because it meant they could administer it laying down without me seeing anything. Maybe more needs to be made of the fact that this can happen?

Some very keen managers who try and ignore LFTs... As in, well the positive line is weaker than the negative line, so your negative thus your working. My better half who is compliance auditor person, has insisted all 3 workers not to work and go and have PCRs, all 3 have tested positive. This is community care with very frail people...

This should have been discussed a week ago, now here we are on Tuesday and schools due to reopen on Thursday. It's looking like a staggered reopening will be pushed for, if they close schools as thats a lockdown as parents will need to be home if children are.. I'm not sure the Government have the will to have another lockdown.

Disgusting really. I'm against all mandates. What about mid ranked players who don't want the vaccine and rejected exemptions?

Mandates are debatable but again this just proves that some individuals are exempt from the science due to having deep pockets or the ability to generate some money.
Can unvaccinated people travel to Australia to see their families? I don't know the rules but if not that would make the decision even more disgusting.

Yeah. That's why mandates never work. Rich people will find a way to go around it, thus it will create more hostile vibe to it. Just let everybody in, test them often, that's it. People who want the vaccine get the vaccine. End of story.
Aussies have bottled it. Massively. Shame their cricket team don’t.
It's all dependent on state laws. New South Wales (did have, at least) different rules to Victoria, for example.
I'm also uncomfortable with mandatory vaccinations so tbh I don't really care about this decision with Djokovic.
