My missus (who doesn't live with me) tested positive on a PCR. We all went for tests on Wednesday because her son had symptoms. It turns out that he actually has Tonsillitis and is covid negative, as am I.I self tested this morning before I went for my booster, came home from the jab to find out that the Mrs, Daughter and granddaughter have all tested positive
I am still clear, so looks like battling the peasants in the Christmas supermarket queues this week is just down to me.
can't wait.
sigh.......
Don't agree with this. Most people in this country are pro vaccine but anti lockdown.Out of curiosity, would the anti-vax, let’s just live with it brigade be happy to sacrifice a partner or a parent so they can go back to normal? Ie go the pub when they want and go on holiday abroad a couple of times a year for the next 5 years, say.

You don’t think there is a high correlation between anti-vax and anti-lockdown?Don't agree with this. Most people in this country are pro vaccine but anti lockdown.
Just because I think we need normality and think restrictions are a joke, doesnt mean I'm anti vax. I'm really the total opposite.
The people asking for a lockdown are undermining the vaccine efforts by showing a lack of trust. Anti vaxxers are using this as ammo. Why have a lockdown if the vaccine works is what they are saying. Its a big concern.
Not really no. Almost everyone I know has taken the jab but is against a lockdown. You don’t think there is a high correlation between anti-vax and anti-lockdown?
Anyway, if the above doesn’t apply to you then it’s clearly not a question for you.
Not really no. Almost everyone I know has taken the jab but is against a lockdown.
The media and government should be representing that view point
I am probably wrong, with the percentages 70+39.3 =109.3, does that mean 3 doses means you are immune? If it does, havent they said that with the new variant you/we are only 80% proteted? Head is falling off with all this.View attachment 148813
My point is more aimed using evidence like this which shows the same amount of cases as last year but about a 10th of the deaths. So we are not in the same position as 2 years ago.
There will be no silver bullet here unfortunately. See both sides of the lockdown debate to be honest but it’s not something that bothers me too much. Just hoping my folks don’t get it.
Yes lots and lots, pretty much everyone i know.Do you think that there are many people pro vax but anti lockdown?
Sorry I edited to what I meant!Yes lots and lots, pretty much everyone i know.
We have to trust the vaccines, and stop going from lockdown to lockdown. It should be about personal responsibility. If you don't feel comfortable being out and about that's totally fine. But you shouldn't support stopping others if they do feel comfortable.
Lockdowns do enormous damage and the thought of another one is horrible who is speaking up for those who suffered from financial, mental health, other health issues due to lockdown? Why are they forgotten?
Vaccine passports aren't a lockdown though, are they?Tell the experts that. They still have nothing to offer but lockdown
I'd say not many to that question. Dont personally know anyone anti vax but pro lockdownSorry I edited to what I meant!
