If everyone was vaccinated there would be no need for any lockdowns, health passports, or restrictions etc. All of these things are to protect the selfish unvaccinated. If we cannot convince them to play their part then the least we can do is ask them to pay for ICU costs incurred…..

Have another look and then also look at the data, especially from the continent where the unvaccinated restrictions have been in place for some time.

Also, There's (just about) a thing called the national health service funded via national insurance in this country, which should grant all individuals adequate health care, free, at the point of need - they don't need to pay over and above what they already have, for any treatments, just because they don't want to get the vaccine.

Last time I checked, it's still a personal choice, that is until this stazi government make it mandatory.

Harder to track does not mean the PCR tests etc don’t work, they still will tell people they have coronavirus.

It just means that the quicker method than full sequencing of the sample to determine which variant it is between Delta and Omicron doesn’t work. Even then that sister variant is currently less than 10% of sequenced genomes.

I don’t actually agree that you can avoid restrictions because I think the real issue is cases - which vaccines don’t seem to impact at least not at the required level

I agree that there should be medical consequences for being unvaccinated (if they need medical help), but even if everyone was vaccinated we might still need restrictions, passports and the rest.

Probably only an issue for a few weeks if it's going to become the dominant one right? Once it is don't we just assume like we currently do and run the full sequencing to monitor for others?

Baffles me how all these unvaccinated barstewards are all asymptomatic, and are happily going about spreading the covid to all and sundry, in the pubs, bars restaurants, at music events, sporting events and in the workplace, without a care in the world. Us vaccinated wouldn't do such a thing would we?

They need ostracizing and segregating from society just because of that, if you ask me.
