It's coming. No Jabs, no social life.
Will be interesting to see how many jabs you need to have had. And if that is going to bean ongoing thing with boosters.
I would imagine reading what was said.

The country has a plan for putting strict measures in place for everyone can get jabbed.

So it is essentially an endless cycle, booster protects so need to booster another 50 million people , then we get restrictions lifted.

It's all about looking like they are doing something to try and placate the media and those who shout loudest on social media.

None of these measures will make any difference, and the idea that we can eliminate covid is completely daft.

Encourage people to get jabs, help the health service and give them what they need. These are the only practical steps that will actually work in the long run without damaging society.

It's already events and licensed premises in NI.

I absolutely expected it to happen to that extent, I just thought they'd ease through the venues before implementing it for everything.

If this turns out to be true you'd imagine 3 doses for over a certain age, two for those under that age until maybe mid to late Feb (remember offered by end of January to book, not actually receive). Then I guess again for the variant ones, with the mechanism remaining permanently?

However many of these jabs I choose to take, I refuse to enter a premises that only takes vaccine proof for entry

I believe that in NI, you can apply for a pass after getting your first dose.

Exactly right.

It's obvious that lower death rates alone arent enough in today's society.

The only way we can avoid restrictions/lockdowns etc is for case levels to come down.

I dont believe vaccines/boosters are effective enough in reducing case levels, and never will be.
