Im not saying it’s not out there and never have, but to shut down the whole world, if it was as catastrophic as they have made out the last two years everyone would know many many people who have been destroyed by it.

I’ve been double jabbed, I’m not a conspiracy theorist or an anti vaxxer but I’m sorry if any one is falling for this rubbish or falling for the nonsense the government is appointing them we have bigger issues. It’s an absolute joke!
You are saying its fine for vulnerable people to die, you shouldn't have to lift a finger beyond taking a vaccine to save them and its fine if other people die.

What you are insinuating at but are too cowardly to openly say is deeply disturbing

Does anyone not know someone who has either died or lost someone from this? Genuinely curious - without really thinking about it I know of at least three people (two at work, one the dad of someone I went to school with). I also know a few more people with long COVID.
Luckily nobody close to me or I know has passed. However I do know a few with long COVID. 28 months later I am still not right. Really struggle with energy some days. Days I don't feel good, I really don't feel good. Out of breath easier etc.

Yeah but your job as a health care provider is not to play politics. We have pins to think about. Every decision questioned if there is an incident. There is no way anybody saves a 90 year old smoker over a 27 year old mother. No matter what their vax status is. The unvax mother gets the bed and you do what you can for the 90 year old. Anything different and you have some very serious questions to answer. You can't say, oh she is unvaccinated, so we let her die. So the public have a slap in the face. You would be packing up your belongings and straight out the door. Don't even bother with the enquiry. Just leave.

TBF it is a bit hard to see how that isn't playing politics itself - you've basically assumed there that letting a 90 year old die would be fine with people, that there would be no investigation and noone would get into trouble for it. That might be true (certainly noone is likely to face anything for what happened in care homes) but it really doesn't have any logic to it.

It's not what I said. I said you do what you can for the 90 year old. Try to find a bed somewhere, anywhere, make comfortable. I can't think of many people who would ever doubt that course of action.

Yes.
I had COVID May 20 and have struggled since. Double jabbed in the summer. So 12 months of feeling bad before a vaccine ever got to me.
I’ve been off since my second jab, tired a lot more than usual. Know a lot of others a who have been.

The long covid jab... better jab than Larry Holmes.

Yep, don't doubt it. Different people react in different ways. The placement of the jab has messed me up though. Something I am looking at taking legal action about.

It is what you said would happen for the 27 year old though - "so we let her die". Presumably if that was what not getting that bed meant, then that is what was going to happen to the 90 year old too?

I think you need to read again.
27 year old mother gets the bed. 90 year old, try you as hard as you can or get bed management to try to find a bed.
Nobody will ever let a young mother face certain death over a 90 year old smoker. Not happening. You justify your choices if their is an investigation. That one is easy.
Immediately put the mother in the bed and then do what you can for the 90 year old. Simples.

.... and again, you are doing to the 90 year old what you claim to be horrified about doing to the 27 year old.

Medical Triage... the order in which care is given is of utmost importance.. if there is one ICU bed available and the options are a 90 year old smoker who's vaccinated and a 27 year old unvaccinated......there is no hospital in the world giving the bed to the 90 year old..
