This is nonsense tbh mate.

We were told get your 2 jabs and thats it now its a booster jab then what?

Do we need a 4th jab 6 months down the line then a 5th?

Whens the line drawn?

It's been nearly two years. How is it that you still don't get that this is all new, circumstances change, and we are having to learn as we go?

Compulsory Covid jabs for NHS staff from April 2022 according to The Guardian.

Good move, would have liked to have seen this a lot sooner.
Try sacking that many this month as originally planned and see what happens if you need to use the NHS over winter. I'd happily be treated by an unvaccinated medical worker, but I get how many wouldn't want to be

I just think doing that in November when the NHS is already under such strain would've been crazy crazy behaviour

I woukd say its very much hearsay at this stage mate its really difficult to tell when boosters are only starting to be rolled out.

I do agree over 50's should get a booster but I'll be annoyed if they keep dangling the carrot of freedom for the rest of us unless its actually needed.

I imagine we wont know until next year when its been 6-8 months since under 50's have received their double jab how we get on!

I just think the adverse side effects in younger people is too risky at present to be advocating boosters for under 40's mate.

They need to iron out the issues with Myocarditis before I would happily accept it every 6 months particularly being under 30 myself with a strong immune system that can potentially go into overdrive with one of these jabs!
I'm 100% with you, though I don't think talking so openly about potential side effects is particularly societally acceptable.

But put simply, we'll either take as many injections as we're told or not do very much with our lives. If you want to ever go abroad again, to football etc.

not to mention come 2022 April/May all vaccine mandates will be lifted all around the world.

shouldn't finish people's career off for a temporary thing

I'm not convinced about the temporary nature of this to be honest. I think vaccine passports and mandates have only just begun. We're probably the only country not to be touched by it here in England.

I personally think grown up conversations around the fact maybe vaccinated people should also need to be tested should happen- it astounds me that we're on about boosters and waning immunity and likely all need at least one, yet apparently being vaccinated means you're safe to go into a crowded gig or football without testing. Helps the NHS yes as less likely to need hospital care but doesn't do a huge amount to stop spread.

Not quite sure why you think that mate.

Vaccine mandates for other diseases are common in the US as a requirement for employment for medical staff and for kids attending school. There is a long history dating back to the war of Independence.

I see zero chance that my state California will reverse its Covid mandates for instance and, unless a Republican gets elected as president in Nov 2024, I’d expect this travel rule to remain in place

I’m less tuned into the European or Asian situation so wouldn’t forecast those with any certainty but suspect in the latter at least for travel they will remain.

And presumably updated for every available booster

even if literally 0 people die of covid? you cannot ask for a vaccine proof from your employee if no one dies from the very disease that vaccine is made to combat. no one will ask for a vaccine proof if you are not flying to Africa, come 2024 at the latest.
