The uk hit high numbers pretty quickly, then hit the anti vaxxers and, ultimately, not enough of them have changed their tune. I don’t know what more can be done about that. They tried vaccine passports, but got shouted down by people and bottled it. Now what’s next? You can’t force people down.

Aus and NZ could and should have had their roll outs finished in a matter of months. However, they dallied. But then they have realised the importance of vaccination and pushed it. I imagine the lockdowns in aus in recent months have helped in pushing people to be vaccinated - as they’re only opening up based on % of population vaccinated at least in some areas

Exactly, everyone who wants a vaccine in the UK has had the vaccine and any adult could have been vaccinated about 2 or 3 months ago. The remaining % just varies depending on the number of anti vaxxers in each country.

Agree with the latter bit, still think their and Australia’s catch up have been impressive.
It has. NSW and Victoria have had a massive increase in vax rates since they got hit with Delta a few months back. So much so that they have just permitted international travel Quarantine free.

Over here in WA, the rollout has been much slower, presumably because we haven't had Covid for about a year, so a lot people don't see the urgency, especially since our state borders are still shut.

Grim scenes at the Gare Saint-Lazare today I hear, be interesting to see how the anti-vax crowd deal with these terrorists in their midst.

FREEDOM DAY

Finished my self isolating today. Unfortunately the kids still have a few days to go but thankfully only one has tetsed positive - follow up PCR's today.

Had 2 or 3 crappy days but have felt fine for the last 2 or 3 days now. Hate to think what it would've been like without any vaccine.

I've no health issue and would be generally in good shape.

Should be bullet proof now for 9 months ?

No idea about aguero but eriksen didn't have a vaccine at the time of the euros.
Sounds like atrial fibrilation for Aguero. I used to get it during games, about half-a-dozen times a season. Been on medication for it for last 15 or so years. No chest pain though, just heart racing at 230 per minute. Used to last for 12 hours. Haven't had one for 18 months due to new medication.
I never bothered going to the doctor when I played football, in case they told me I had to stop!

Interesting that Aguero went off the pitch this weekend with suspected chest pain - throw in Eriksen's incident at the Euros and I wonder if Myocarditis from the vaccines have played any part in either?

You would hope sportsmen/athletes would be carefully monitored after having the jabs as strenuous exercise weeks to months after even minor cases of Myocarditis / Pericarditis can be fatal.
He'd be far my likely to suffer Myocarditis if he got covid.

IT'S NAMED AFTER THE DEVIL!!!!
