Is talking about mask effectiveness really still a thing ?

I also find it hard to believe.
It's so easy.
If everybody in an indoor closed space wore a mask, then if anybody was infected with the virus, they're less likely to spread it around.

Got fed up with the school dragging their heels over vaccinations, so my missus dragged my eldest to the walk in at Sint Ellen’s rugby ground this afternoon.

Issue is people are obsessed with it on both sides.

You have virtual signallers who just want to show their a good person. Then people who have a really weird thing that it's some curtailment of freedom.

It's a minor annoyance but I wear mine if I'm going the shop, or when I walk through to the gym because it's quite a tight space and a lot of older people go there for a swim.

I don't wear it anywhere else, but I don't particularly go to loads of places other than the ones I list, occasionally go the pub. I won't be wearing it at that gig I'm off to next week, for example.

@Walken what’s your problem mate? Am I a bad person because I’m not going to wear a mask at a gig?

Currently led round a pool in Turkey, got to say the Russians really don't give a [Poor language removed] about it. Signs up everywhere to wear masks indoors... absolutely no compliance from the putins

Yup, Russians never wear masks, they don't fear it.
