If only the US would do the same. When is it time that the right of those of us that have been vaccinated to be taken into consideration as much as those who refuse to do so. Why do their rights matter more than my safety

First survivor of the delta variant from a 350 bed hospital leaves ICU

Doesn't seem to make sense? Looking online at various studies and the lowest ICU survival rate I've seen is 50%. In the UK around 70-80% of ICU patients survive in the end.

How can only 1 person survive out of 100s?

49% of people at my work are un vaccinated. I guess years of living under communist dictatorships and being forced to do things is hard to erase
Yup. This is the case for my in-laws who emigrated from behind the Iron Curtain. They also have the extenuating circumstances that my brother in law’s disability was caused by a medicine that my mother in law was prescribed when pregnant

As this was discussed recently

This in particular I liked
“Well-intentioned but ultimately paternalistic decisions to always exclude pregnant women from trials have left them vulnerable and this needs to be reversed. Women are capable of making informed decisions about whether or not to participate in a trial. Women need to be able to benefit from research, and not be excluded. They also need to be able to participate safely.”
