I think there’s a difference between someone who has a disease like alcoholism and someone who is just plain ignorant.
But people aren’t ignorant by choice. Most people who are wrong don’t genuinely believe they are wrong and acting in a bad way.

People are ignorant by choice though. I’ll pander to a lot of things. Ignorance isn’t one of them. There is no excuse for ignorance. But people aren’t ignorant by choice. Most people who are wrong don’t genuinely believe they are wrong and acting in a bad way.

You seem to be missing the point entirely. The issue is the pressure these choices put on healthcare systems globally. People who refuse to be vaccinated will never, ever come close to the pressure that the obese, smokers or those who drink (don’t forget it’s not just alcoholics, it’s the drunks who turn up every weekend) place on healthcare systems.I mean im not blind, smoking and drinking are bad, health-wise, the reason you mentioned above, its all sorts of wrong.
But for me theres a world of difference between MOST people silently killing themselves by choice and SOME people killing others for the sake of a little hess hess in the arm.

It’s not about whether what ails you is contagious, it’s about how much pressure it exerts on the NHS. So put the ciggies away and put the cookies down.
aren't smokers also killing people beside them? its not just themselves. my mom smoked a lot when we were growing up, and we still have problems because of it.I mean im not blind, smoking and drinking are bad, health-wise, the reason you mentioned above, its all sorts of wrong.

There's literally zero equivalence but fair play for making a go of it you smug, straw-grasping tit.
Are you anti vax if you’ve had Hepatitis A Hepatitis B, tetanus, typhoid, Rabies, yellow fever and Japanese Encephalitis vaccines but don’t want the Covid vaccine?
I have both vaccines and tested positive for Covid the other day. I have been absolutely floored by it, shortness of breath from just going up the stairs.
I’m glad I got both vaccines though as I’m sure if I didn’t I’d be feeling much worse or potentially hospitalised.
Smoking and eating don't put any extra strain on the NHS. The system is set up to easily meet the demand. You seem to be missing the point entirely. ...and on a more serious note; I hope QLD / Brisbane get it all sorted soon as I've just lashed out for tickets for The Ashes at the Gabba 9th Dec.
