We have reached a point where those who subscribe to they are old or physically compromised so they would die anyway, have won the debate. And in my experience it's them who will scream and wail the loudest when it's one of their own who become a dead statistic.
On positive note about other illnesses absolute no chance getting into work with cold even if its residue. Not myself allowed resume until antibiotics have finished, gone are the days being fit to work, nasty mean policy it was too.

It used to be that the Darwin award winners would play with electrics while sitting in the bath, or try to kiss a tiger, hug a bear, or rock climb in clogs. Nowadays they just hide in plain sight complaining why you need to wear a mask or why they can't take horse dewormer.
Until the world is vaccinated at a similar rate it will unfortunately never be completely normal, if you have open borders and rely on tourism then there is a chance a variant can still sneak in and cause havoc. Fingers crossed it doesn't.

Yeah I think the same when fatties who gorge themselves on junk food and don’t exercise end up with type 2 diabetes or heart disease. Same with those alcoholics and their failed livers. Or the smokers with their lung cancer.
This Herman Cain point scoring BS is really beneath anyone who considers themselves a good human and needs to stop.
Its an interesting point, how many people in this thread criticise mask or vaccine sceptics while throwing literal poison down their necks every weekend.
Alcohol kills far more people than not wearing a mask.

Entirely different. A person gorging themselves on food and never exercising isn’t going to give ANOTHER person type 2 diabetes. Same with alcohol. I suppose 30 years ago when you could still smoke indoors, there was a good argument to be made that that behavior was affecting others, which is why it isn’t allowed anymore.
I agree that some comments in that sub have crossed a line into a celebratory tone, but ultimately it’s a place for people to vent about being surrounded by ***holes who are prolonging this hell.

No offence but your comment misses my point.
You can talk about contagious diseases effecting others all you want- I don’t disagree. However I’m talking about people’s poor life choices impacting our healthcare system and wasting resources- a point to which there is literally no dispute.
