TBF this is already a well developed thing, just look at what cancer patients get over Facebook where things like chemo are slated principally because they are known and make people ill, whereas unknown things that don’t make people ill (miracle honey / salt / whatever) are what the loons try to sell you.

The fact one works and the rest don’t is immaterial, it’s the association of the working one in people’s minds with negatives that does all the work for a certain sort of mind.

Absolutely. My daughters class of 30 now has 7 kids off with covid. I'm fuming that the school hasn't sent the entire class away for two weeks. They say Health England say just to test everyone! SEND THEM HOME!!!!!

I'm tempted to pull her from school myself, its not her I'm so worried about its her grandparents that pick her up from school each day, as we know kids can carry without knowing..

Schools are Covid factories, we've always known this but the management of it has been disgraceful.

Was saying this the other day - I had this last week, just two days of feeling abysmal but tested negative on a PCR and LF.

People around the world have generally been not doing stuff for 18 months now. We've all come out in the last few months and so our body is getting exposed to more people again. It's definitely a thing.

And cases/positive tests are falling across most of the UK.

Comes and goes in waves of peaks and valleys for me now, Roydo, this thing.

If there wasn't daily ticker counters and scary headlines, nobody would care.

Treat it for what it is - something very serious that the vast majority are now vaccinated against and/or have had it on top of that. Those ones that aren't getting vaccinated, well that's on them. Can only do so much.

Annual booster like the flu jab for those that need it - over 50s/vulnerable groups. Job's a good 'un.

Seems that way. Flu jab booked in a few weeks, and GP surgery will no doubt text me soon for a Covid booster.

I wish they'd give us all boosters. Only Moderna is really effective for more than 8 months apparently...

Dont think you really need one if you are under 50/not vulnerable - your antibodies wane after 8 or so months but you'll still have T Cells that remember the "infection" so to speak or at least I think thats the science behind it.
