It's terrible. I used to have a mild obsession with clicking on this stuff to read the comments, couldn't help myself.
I think ultimately, to reassure yourself, just look at the % of people who have had the vaccine. 90% pretty much... so these lunatics hanging about Youtube comment sections are well in the minority

Almost certain those are bots. YouTube is absolutely horrible with cleaning them up and they don’t give you any tools to report them either. The bots spam pretty much every comment section with nonsense, no matter what the topic.

Hospital figures - 49 deaths were announced today, no figures to compare to from yesterday but it is up 6 on last Monday. 25 deaths were in English hospitals, again nothing to compare from yesterday but it is up 9 on last week. The 7 day rolling average rises to 120.14
All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 49 deaths were announced today, down 7 on yesterday and down 12 on last Monday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 141.57

For sure… but there’s a pretty obvious tell for YouTube bots. The ones with full names, no subscriptions, no videos of their own, no likes or favorites, no anything… and they just comment all day.
They’re the ones who whine about late night TV hosts being too political, or that football was a better game in the 1970s played by real manly men, or whatever. They are out to get people angry and that’s it. YouTube doesn’t give you any tools to deal with it. At least Twitter lets you report fake accounts (which are also obvious).
