Honest answer - sadly no.No mucking about - but does anyone else think the self-isolation will be done by first week of April? Particularly the WFH stuff.
I'm being very strict on it - have barely left the house in the last ten days with virtually no visitors - but wonder if we are genuinely looking at another 4-6 weeks lockdown
Personally I reckon it's going to be longer than that. No idea what's happening. No mucking about - but does anyone else think the self-isolation will be done by first week of April? Particularly the WFH stuff.

Yeh I don't think it's weather as such but it's just naturally coming out of a season where illnesses are more likely.
This time of year - people are always ill. With very similar symptoms (sore throat, bit of a sniffle) to the lesser symptoms of this virus. And that's down to the change in seasons and even air pressure as we get warmer again. I know it sounds really simple and even a bit daft but it really is the case - every year around now I usually get a bit of a sore throat or feel a bit off for a few days and then I'm fine. And I'm not really someone who gets ill a lot.
But in the summer there's less about. People are - usually, obviously - able to get out more and be more active and you don't get those bugs.
I think they're hoping that it's just they can avoid everything else by the time the summer comes around. There shouldn't be as much other stuff knocking about which is impacting people's immune systems and leaving them more vulnerable to this.
Also, people need to be taking more and more vitamins and getting as much exercise as possible atm. I know it's boring but it really is key - and why we aren't getting this info wide scale is beyond me and frustrating.
It's not gonna stop you getting it but if you can be taking vitamin A and D and getting fresh air and exercise your immune system is going to be stronger.
Honestly? Probably. I think it will depend on the country, but here in the states I see a long isolation as impossible, and probably in many other countries. No mucking about - but does anyone else think the self-isolation will be done by first week of April? Particularly the WFH stuff.

That's an interesting one mate. I think it is ultra-serious, don't get me wrong, and I think the curfew stuff is the right thing. It just feels a bit unimaginable that we'll all be kept in our homes beyond mid-April, and more likely there will be surges (and re-quarantines) for the next six months rather than a full lockdown.
No, it's autumn now so most major cities are only in the mid 20s to low 30s.Isn't Australia roasting this time of year?
Is the correct answer. It's worth remembering that your normal body temperature is about 36 degrees and the virus obviously thrives there, so a few warm days won't kill itI think the whole heat thing is to do with Windows being opened and people generally being outside more. Think even the flu can survive hot temps but it's how we act that slows the spread compared to winter when we're huddled indoors more and doors/windows are shut
