I can't stand him but it does depend what he means by "feeling groggy". Currently you can only get a PCR test if you have a temperature, new constant cough or lost your taste or smell. You don't mess about with LFTs when showing symptoms which he clearly stated he did. If you are showing symptoms straight to PCR... He is a tool and contradicts NHS advice...

I mean in his position he should probably be clearer but he hasn't necessarily gone against NHS guidance.

A reminder of the new covid symptoms (apparently)
Sickness
The craps
Feeling tired/run down
Have a cold
Sore throat
Headache
You know, basically anything wrong with you now means COVID and DON'T LEAVE THE HOUSE!
Yeah, saw that the other day. Could box most off any day. So my refrain has remained, if I dont get it, Mrs R wont. So I make sure, as best I can, that I dont get it.
And my faux Dr Roydo take on those symptoms is that they are so slight, that the danger from this latest Delta thing is less than previous ones. As in, not one of them would cause any consternation pre Covid, and certainly not one of them would cause a hypoxic cardiac arrest, which is what actually kills you.
So fever/temp, cough, and smell/taste equals Covid Max; will take our chances with a headache if thats ok.
Hows the wife getting on mate?
Splendidly thanks mate. All things considered.
She has bad days, (dont we all), and a few horrible nights, (PTSD), but they are both less and less. The thing is, (soz mods, straying off topic), the number of folk of her age and build, (she is tiny) and stuff that survive what she did is so small, that the medics have not a clue what her medium and long term prognosis is likely to be.
Like bought her a walking frame gizmo the other week, so she was whizzing about the house, then did some exercise bike stuff, and that utterly knackered her rib cage and sternum. (both of which were smashed) So, back on the sofa for a fortnight. What can you do but just be there? But she smiled earlier when I was wearing a new Everton training top.
"Thats looks sound Roydo"
"Yeah Nik, we are crap on the pitch, but look nice"
Great to hear mate - she sounds a fighter which is half the battle won!
Lucky sod im banned from wearing anything EFC outside of match day the missus says the three Everton tattoos are enough for her to have to look at lol
Or, if you have such symptoms, perhaps take a free PCR test and discover if you have the virus at no cost to yourself and little expense of time and effort?A reminder of the new covid symptoms (apparently)
