Anyone know anything about this, this guy has previously had great data on vaccination rates, especially Wales outperformance

Wow I don’t think the significance of that has been acknowledged that looks a serious supply hiccup, buried in the headlines of yesterday politically.

It might be the AZ thing, the U.K. pretty much had a monopoly on its supply, then they made a decision not to use AZ on the young ones, the MRNA are in deep with the EU and US market in terms of contracts and delivery, is it the U.K. now needing to be in the que for the MRNA’s. I think they have a J&J supply coming in July, but that has the same issues as AZ.

He did a follow up tweet that makes it seem like supply levels are Ok - perhaps just weird communication strategy? All a bit odd tbh

I noticed last week that most EU countries were doing a fair few more doses a day than the U.K. for the last week or so, they were pound for pound just before that, having said that the U.K. are about a month ahead of everyone. Supply ebbs and flows, I’m just curious about how they will manage the younger cohort if they are veering away from the adenovirus vaccines, AZ has been the backbone of their roll out. We could do with Curevac right about now, in fact they are right about due or should be anyway. A third MRNA would really help with the double dosing we need swiftly with Delta.

Hospital figures - 16 deaths were announced today, up 14 on yesterday and up 4 on last Tuesday. All 16 were in English hospitals, again up 14 on yesterday and up 4 on last week. The 7 day rolling average rises to an even 8

All settings - for the 28 day cut off, 10 deaths were announced today, up 7 on yesterday and down 3 on last Tuesday. The 7 day rolling average falls to an even 9

For the 60 day cut off, 22 deaths were announced today, up 19 on yesterday and down 4 on last Tuesday. The 7 day rolling average falls to 16.86

Why do they list only deaths within 28 days of a positive test? Surely that let’s some slip through the reporting figures. If you live longer than COVID four weeks, then did where does that stat go....
Actually think it could inflate the figures.
28 days is long enough for many to die of issues completely unrelated to covid.

Not many folk stay 28 days in an ICU. Well, in the critical care part of it, cos there are 2 components to an ICU ward. If you have a decent chance of getting out of one alive, within a week or so of critical care, you are moved to the long term recovery part.

What a nasty little country we've become. What were the police doing except trousering their overtime ?

What happens when you let mob rule pass.

The legacy of BLM that any gaggle of scum can form a "protest" and attack and destroy what they want under the guise of free speech.

Im sorry but the sooner protests are banned the better - its gotten too out of hand.
