Also... "In Latin America, widespread recommendation of the antiparasitic was largely based on findings in a now-retracted preprint by health analytics company Surgisphere, which fell into disrepute after its Covid-19 data was found to be largely unreliable."

Much like hydroxychloroquine, people are using ivermectin intended for animals and causing themselves significant harm because of unsubstantiated hype - COVID has caused enough death and destruction without adding to it.

Rowing back from no masks and ending SD next month apparently. Until there is more data re Indian Variant. Makes total sense. The test events, so far, and the vax data, so far, are encouraging. But not conclusive.
