How? It’s not a hardship to keep distance in queues for shops/tills surely?
If you think it happens you either don't go out or purposely being obtuse. Happened in the first lock down with one way systems, however, not since we came out of that first lock down. Think the small independents shops have been good probably the nature of being a sole trader...

Most under 30's would you imagine.

Personally believe now the over 45's are sorted they should have two different vaccine programs running side by side - the current one 30-45 and a seperate one for the under 30's with the Pfizer/Moderna jabs.

Lets be honest the under 30's are/will be the super spreaders once restrictions continue to lift so I see little point in keeping them bottom of the que when they aint eligible for the AZ vaccine anyway.

I’d try and get the J&J for the under 40’s as it’s a single dose.......

What you really mean, is that you want us to remain under restrictions , as your dearest wish, would be that our lives remain under some form of state control forever.

The virus and the vaccine are just a smokescreen for you to push your extreme political views onto anyone who will listen.

You realise the Covid vaccines are based on existing vaccines that work, but they are tweaked for covid?
Daft as a brush.

We observed a further reduction in infection risk after one dose of the BNT162b2 vaccine when compared with unvaccinated controls at 21–44 days after vaccination (RR −69% [95% CI −72 to −66]) and at 45–59 days after vaccination (−72% [–79 to −63]; figure 4). The RR after one dose of ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 compared with unvaccinated controls was −60% (95% CI −68 to −49) at 21–44 days after vaccination.

@Neiler first data think I’ve seen of infection rate after 40days for one dose regimen of Pfizer, looks good.

Mate I work, so I’m out everyday, everywhere I go bar my own shop people distance in queues, in our place I’d say it’s about 70-30 in terms of people following guidelines

We have single figure deaths because of the lockdown of 4 months standing (5 months for some regions).

The vaccines are unproven and will only be really tested in the winter when respiratory disease is more common.

Is it that hard to just socially distance and remain vigilant? I mean, there's 127,000 people lost their lives in this country - maybe as a mark of respect to them we could all just be cautious and also do a lot more than we could have for the past few months?

Too much to ask?
Dave, the weekly new cases numbers are now in single figures (here in north Wales anyway) but the amount of people out and about has been virtually ‘normal’ for weeks now, from what I can see. Add to that the usual bellends not wearing masks in shops etc. And iirc, you yourself said “this is not a ‘kin lockdown”, or words to that effect. So there must be an explanation for the massive drop in cases, right? It can only be the vaccination programme.

It's down to months of lockdown and the fact that indoor activities are yet to happen again. The vaccines have not had a major stress test yet. They will from May 17th.

Like it isn’t being tested already.

From what I’m seeing the general public ( proles ) seem to have pretty much abandoned the rules regarding about going into each other’s houses.
