No serious illnesses amongst the most vulnerable in society. Despite being in confined enclosed spaces.

Some will see it as a failure in the power of the vaccine when it is the opposite.

Its been awful for them. Arsed about what went wrong/what they did, they need urgent action from countries less unfortunate.

But the numbers and the size of their population gives one the sense that this story has a long way to its conclusion.

What’s being reported is the tip of the ice berg in my opinion mate, case numbers are only as good as your testing. A human tragedy is unfolding there, we all need to send what we can there and not be arsed when the shops open again.

Oh without doubt. Didnt someone post the other day that the infection rate in their capital was sommet like 30%? I cant recall his user name, but a regular poster in this thread.

We know so much more about this now, but what has never been in doubt is that once it gets its skates on, it doesnt stop for a cuppa.

Just read this article about the situation in India. Says that while they are reporting around 2,000 deaths a day the real figure is more likely to be above 10,000. There’s quite a lot of depressing stuff in this article which suggests things are going to get much much worse

Some know it all just told me “It’s not a vaccine as it don’t stop you getting or spreading it, it’s a clinical trial”.

I replied “It was, now it’s a vaccine and it’s proven to cut the spread 30 percent to a person you live with. You’re only telling me what you told me, as an NHS worker who jabbed you, told you. It’s so they have their arse covered. It wasn’t fully known at the time. Even a Cambridge study proved it cut the spread, so stop your crap. Plenty of graphs on Twitter to prove my point”.

Unfortunately there has been a further outbreak of covid in 2 old people's homes here in the Creuse département of central France
All the inhabitants had been fully 2 shot vaccinated, the staff had at least one jab.
38 vaccinated people have been re infected by the Brazilian or s African mutation.

If you can read French it's reported in Le Figaro today.

Can you keep us informed how the infected get on mate. The vaccines don't have a great record of preventing infection. But they do have a good record of stopping hospitalisation and death.

From a purely selfish perspective do you know which vaccine they had?
