We called the Brecon Beacons the Joey Deacons when we trained on them.

Reading that back, I cant for the life of me remember why, but how we laughed.

Yeah mate, as Roydo said though it was different times.
My old dear clouted me round the head when I called our kid a Joey, I truly couldn't understand why she did it at the time as teachers and the like didn't bat an eyelid on the playground with a load of kids running round with their tongues jammed between their lower lip and mandible.
Kids can be cruel however I'd like to plead youthful ignorance and oopsy daisy please m'lud.

Sadly, just like many of your posts, a lot of countries are posting figures that suit their political agendas and aren't based on reality.

Trying to compare the UK's integrity, with their reporting, to countries like Brazil, Mexico is a total joke, but as it's from you I'd expect nothing less.

However, the UK Government took over 5,000 deaths off the total of fatalities last year by a change of definition concerning laboratory conformed positive test followed by a death.

Of course, it's only Jonny Foreigner in your world that hides deaths and under reports them.

If this Indian variant was first detected in February and turns out to be a variant of Concern that is going be another big mistake by the government. Would be gutting to have all the good work undone. Just shows how precarious the situation currently is. International travel/holidays should be off the table until vaccine production has been ramped up across the globe
