Seriously though, I’m sick of that word. When I was younger it referred to music releases, where you would get the “Physical variant” being the CD or vinyl, then the “Digital variant” which would be the 79p download from iTunes you’d play on your iPod. Now it’s all associated with virus’s and their foreign counterparts.



This variant has been in the U.K. for two months now, yet the evil MSM are going on as if it’s like this week and has shot up as soon as it’s arrived. Hence what I said earlier about scaremongering and blowing it up to proportion to frighten.

If you read the thread, the OP says there shouldn’t be any reason why the vaccine shouldn’t work against it. She writes really good intelligent stuff and talks sense.

The government bought 2 billion worth of covid tests from some Chinese company, this is on top of the excess of 30 billion Hancock and Boris wasted track and trace, covid mutants is a classic scaremongering term - if people are so concerned about covid then you folks would literally die of a heart attack at the 17 million deaths from heart disease per year in Europe and India, if people are coerced to getting unapproved jabs for covid that has killed 350 healthy people in England out of 70 million something clearly is not adding up like the government telling us 130 thousand died within 10 days of getting a positive test, so what? what they are not telling is that them folk did not actually die of covid at all - other illnesses actually exist and kill thousands - millions if you look at heart disease in Europe alone.

Around 11 Million die of heart disease in India every year, just sayin and that is just 1 disease.

If this Indian variant was first detected in February and turns out to be a variant of Concern that is going be another big mistake by the government. Would be gutting to have all the good work undone. Just shows how precarious the situation currently is. International travel/holidays should be off the table until vaccine production has been ramped up across the globe

If it’s been two months, then that’s long enough to establish it won’t mess up the figures.

The Kent Variant was discovered in December, but was already about since September. It was by that month the numbers went haywire and we thought it was solely because of people not rule abiding. Two months into the Kent variant, we had a November lockdown due to those daily six figure case numbers.

In a nutshell.....

When the Kent variant came up, we had no vaccines. There was the usual “vaccine escape” scare stories yet the jabs proved they can fight it.

With this latest Indian scare story, we have the vaccines and little do we know right now, they they most probably very well fend us against it. Using the situation in India for forecasting things here, is a bad idea as they only have 100,000,000 vaccinated in a 1.3 billion population.

Patients have dropped by 41 and ventilators have gone up by 4, it’s however dropped below 2,000 patients in hospital with the virus for two days now, but it’s too early to blame dodgy variants too soon. Only 77 cases of it for a start and it will be stomped down on. The vaccines will fight it just like the Kentish one and it’s been noticed early.

Funny how the MSM knew about it for two months, then decide to let us know as soon as the lockdown eases.

Stop bashing mental health you scumbags.

Let’s stop worrying and look forward to May 17 and June 21.
