I'll deffo be picking the Pfizer one if I'm given the option being under 30 but largely as im a Viagra enthusiast and im very pleased with this fine companies products.

I agree but nowhere near to the level the alarm has been.

It's not even a conspiracy theory at this point - it has blatantly been politically driven.

Can only really speak to the US response - genuinely think a lot of the spat between the FDA and AZ has been because of them messing up their trials (not enough old people recruited, getting their dosing regimens mixed up and changing mid trial etc) and presentation of data rather than political.

U.K. vaccines... 462K yesterday (including 344K second jabs)....total first jabs 32,444,439....total number of second jabs 8,513,864....giving an overall total of 40,958,303.......

Really need those first jabs to start picking up again. I want that first one in my arm by June 1st.

If a country regulators say no we'd rather not use its entirety up to them. Of course it's a death in so many millions and what does that matter as long it's not you and yours. All for the greater good. And if unlikely does happen thanks for the sacrifice, I'll join in the round of applause.

Still the salient point is that our very own regulatory powers have stated those under 30 should be offered alternative to AZ vaccine such is the risk. And of course there are thousands of under 30s who are waiting for their second Oxford AZ vaccine.

Genuinely don’t think so, looked at dispassionately the way AZ handled their trial and data rollout was a bit of a dogs breakfast. That doesn’t mean it is a bad vaccine, just realistically it would get more questions because of it.

I am not flag waving the AZ jab, (and like most on here had not a clue about all this pre covid), but my reading does suggest that while the lab rats making the stuff are globally cooperative, data and that, Pharma politics is a dirty game.

So, the At Cost jab gets a kicking, more expensive ones dont. Go figure.
