be interesting to see when (and if) India is added to the red list alongside Pakistan and Bangladesh - by rights, surely it should have been on there already:

You need to stop worrying about variants spreading in the UK Dave.

Concern yourself with the 1s they are making in India and Brazil currently.

But we have no control over those, so worry when there's a reason to worry.

See above, the death rates are dropping, hospital admissions are dropping, get out there and sink a cold 1.
Cases of Covid19 now growing again to 3,500+ - the most for 2 weeks. The SA variant found in London.

Yeah, it's all good for thousands of selfish bellends to start spreading the virus around.

Imagine the warmer nights and weekends.

The June/July lockdown is assured. This place will be over run...and all the shielders will be facing another year stuck indoors...but that's ok...as long as scumbags like that have a few nights out and completely disregard all that's gone on and all those killed and hospitalised so far.
Just carpet bomb London?

(This is my solution to a lot of issues, tbf)

5 months under a degree of lockdown.

I think the "selfish bellends" are entitled to get out in the wild.

Lets see if lessons have been learnt and track and trace can do some of the heavy lifting the vaccines have already done.

A day into the easing of restrictions and it's already apparent that this cant be sustained.

Tell me I'm wrong with those scenes tonight and the addition of the SA variant on these shores now.

Nope. Not one bit of it. Have a quiet drink with a mate or two, but not those scenes. It was a pisstake and they KNOW what they're doing despite loads of advance pleas not to.

Last Mondays testing 813,693 - Positives 2762 - so 0.33%
This Mondays testing 1,218,037 - Positives 3568 - So 0.29% SO based on the amount of tests - its still coming down.

Over 1k of positives for today were from dates in Jan, Feb and March.

Its a simple revision of figures following a change in what's defined as positive following a lateral flow test.

Anyone who says that when they were in your 20`s you wouldn`t have been out there tonight, having a good time is a liar.

* Other than Dave who was born aged 58.

I was with Dave, we locked down too late, 3 times, 3 times we dropped the ball, we saw the hurricane coming and we shook hands with it, instead of moving out of its way.

But currently, there's no hurricane, the skies are blue, the birds are singing.

You don't lockdown for no reason, you don't lock down when deaths are reducing to a "reasonable" level.

So if the skies turn black and you feel it getting windy, then we need to be ready, but for now, build a sandcastle and enjoy the life MOST of us have put on hold for over a year.
