The Liverpool football anthem You'll Never Walk Alone was broadcast by 180 radio stations across Europe this morning, including Slovenia's Val 202.

It's a defiant message of solidarity, as millions are cooped up at home in the coronavirus crisis.

But the BBC's Balkans correspondent ,Guy De Launey, says Slovenia has just told people officially that they should walk alone if they go outside, to avoid spreading the virus.

This is the fault of how pathetically uninterested supermarket guards are more than anything.

This morning my work had an event management company in to crowd control.
The security are stopping huge thefts, as people are skint or know they will be skint soon.
The amount of people this week queuing at 6am is incredible.
With regards to the oldies hour, enforcing it is difficult. It's all new to everyone. Old people bringing family and carers into the shop was then creating arguments of "you shouldn't be in here your too young"
The British public just don't like being told No.
Seeing an elderly gentleman genuinely in tears because he couldn't get any Baked Beans is just a ridiculous place to be in.

This afternoon is quieter and there are nappies, baby milk etc on the shelves.
Like lids have said earlier, the beers and ciders are now empty though ahead of the weekend.

Surely supermarkets will return to normal soon as people will run out of room to stockpile

just in....stockpilers buy up all available warehousing and empty garages.....more as we get it......
