Long hair? No sweat! Been there, done it!

Nice SG. Left handed, or is picture reversed?

Not reversed. I'm left-handed. Photo taken in February 1971, aged 20.

These are my present gigging Les Pauls, (a little levity, folks, to lighten the 'doom and gloom' - no long hair any more, only grey!):

2009 '08 Standard:

And 1991 LP Custom:

Been getting notifications that pubs are shutting for an indeterminate time, so gigs cancelled right through to the end of July so far. No big deal, as there are far greater things happening, as we know.

Is that a leather gilet? o_O

Love the LP standard. A thing of beauty. Sorry Mods, for off topic.

Paris quieter today ;-) Was able to get to local store and no major crisis like other day although not all stuff available but easy to find an alternative ;-) Only issue seems to be at train stations as everyone are trying to get away to countryside where there s signs telling parisians to stay away ;-) Cops verbalising and fining 135 euros and not letting people take the trains unless for work or important family reason to leave to get to elderly/ill family! Also boardwalk of Seine closed too

Don’t visit your parents, don’t socialise, don’t go out unless very necessary. Forget about any events.

But go out and make that money in your millions. You ants!
I'm not for one moment suggesting that people should carry on as normal, but you are able to undertake responsible social distancing in a half empty pub or restaurant, every bit as much as you are in the workplace, and certainly a lot more than you can in a bum fight at the local Asda or Tesco.

If you follow the health guidelines regarding self isolation, hand washing and social distancing, you have more chance of catching or spreading the virus at work or the supermarket, both activities we are still being advised to do. If you go out for drink/meal, say once a week/ fortnight to try and maintain some sanity, you can help some of these places keep going. Restaurants, in particular, are doing their best to help with things like spacing of tables and sanitising etc.

I'm not talking about groups or parties by the way, just going out with the missus. We haven't been out since we went for a couple of drinks a fortnight ago today, and are contemplating going to a new Michael Caines restaurant tomorrow. We still haven't decided tbh but we definitely need cheering up after the week we've had.
