66000 deaths in March. Touching 4000 a day now.

Heading into winter with about 7% having had a jab. This aint going to get better any time soon for them. Not sure what they can do really. Kin tragic.

This is dreadful. I'm not sure we didn't set up more production sites over the last 12 months in every country.

As far as I'm aware there is no similar response to this amongst other vaccines. A smaller number of cerebral embolisms have been witnessed as a reaction to Pfizer.

It's completely for the birds now to suggest that there is no link between AZ and a noticeable number of people with low blood platelets:

“It is not uncommon to get clusters of rare events purely by chance,” he said. “But once you find that cluster in one population and it then crops up in another – such as previously in the German and now in the English – then I think the chances of that being a random association is very, very low.” - Prof Paul Hunter, a medical microbiologist at the University of East Anglia.

It really is just a matter of keeping an eye on what the odds are in terms of a danger of embolisms and Covid19. If youlre of a certsain age it makes sense to get it if its the only one available; if you're younger (a lot of those getting embolisms are younger and mostly women) then there'd be a doubt as to whether to steer clear of it. That would be my assessment.

Would be curious about Sputnik which is apparently similar to the AZ one

How is everyone getting on with unapproved jabs? the actual deaths look to be about 126k - why were ye folk not getting all worked up between 2016 and 2019 when over 100k died of the now extinct flu? was it because the PM was not giving our bi-monthly twaddle screened to our TV screens and we were not told every man woman and child were dying of the flu?

As far as I remember football grounds were packed then also, and I could have a pint with my mates

Everyone getting bummed here and the country is far worse for it financially and then you have other patients dying or missing treatments due to this farce like cancer patients and so forth

Again, this is where the media have played a blinder in ramping up fears.
Whilst mutations are a cause for some concern, the vaccines are proving effective against these. This also means that people who have had covid are unlikely to get seriously ill from a variant.
The Kent variant has proved to be more easily transmitted but nothing to suggest it is more severe.
We are very close to herd immunity for those that need it.

Again, not condoning the behaviours but I am increasingly confident that it won't lead to a spike in hospitalisation and deaths even if cases rise.

I'm sorry but the "Variante Anglaise" is proving both very infectious and very potent in France. (and Belgium and Germany)

Over 46k new cases yesterday here in France;
of which- 81,4% new "english" variante. 8,1% Brazil/S.African

505 new patients in ICUs and over 100% ICU occupancy nationwide.

The "herd" is not just UK, not out of this until the world achieves herd immunity.

My limited understanding is for every 1st jab given, a 2nd dose is kept in reserve for that person.

Otherwise, the effect of the 1st dose ends up effectively being wasted if the 2nd is not given in the required timescale.

May as well inject water tbh, the Flu was in development around 30 years and is at most 50% effective. What does that say about COVID jabs? most require more than 1 dose - many countries don't use them or have stopped usage

A normal healthy adult does not need them, they are not approved by the FDA and under 45s are 35 times more likely to die of a blood clot after getting an AstraZeneca jab than without, so actually its increasing your chance of dying.

Bit like I said people will go ahead and get jabs anyway as they are just brainwashed beyond help at this stage

394 Deaths from influenza
48,168 due to Covid

So not sure why you are so vehemently against the vaccine.
Look at all the figures, the vaccination effort is working.

You’re right, just gets to me as I’ve got family who’ve had it and others who are extremely vulnerable to it
