help me underatand the NHS telling me over 5000 people died from covid despite testing negative?

I looked, and looked and looked - and cannot understand this garbage thrown at us

The problem is there is no strong leaders or anyone to question this trash and people like you think its perfect

Then I see news stories of people committing suicide and going into depression over this covid farce over the last year and think how it became to be this, there are tales like this we are even told about.

They didn't say they tested negative, they just said they didn't get tested before death.

What do I think is perfect?

Things are far from perfect, my eyes are wide open, meanwhile your here saying its not real while sticking tin foil hats up your anus so the 5G towers cant get you.

Don't know about that but I certainly wouldn't want to be in his shoes. Outside of the 2 world wars I don't think any PM has had a more difficult term than he's had so far.

its not really stupid if you look at the figures as a whole, I am sure people knew others who died of the flu when it existed? I mean unless you cannot open your eyes to such facts? we were told in no uncertain terms months ago that the flue is not wiped out chaps, sorry but its gone - now that is stupid

how many healthy adults died of covid? have you checked the NHS data? why are they telling us over 5 thousand died of covid when they tested negative? so in other words they did not die of covid at all.

My dad's cousin died from COVID and my best mate's granddad.

Someone I've been seeing's dad had it last May, didn't know and ended up having a stroke - he was totally healthy other than that.

He's still not recovered fully. Gone back to work a few times only to relapse.

For most people, it doesn't affect them. But for a fair few, it really does.
Luckily, the UK are jabbing like there's no tomorrow so fingers crossed most of those people - if they've taken up the jab - will have as much protection as poss soon enough and we can get back to something akin to normal life

That’s something I wondered about, if you were picking apart my speculation above, I’d go for the possibility of the UK having a buffer and perhaps the UK has held back 2nd doses. My figures are based on doses given vs imports from the UK, indicating the short fall.

But you’d think the clever play would be for the UK to have a buffer for second doses, I mean be a bit mad to have half the population on one dose and not have a buffer of some kind for second doses, haven’t seen anything on it though, maybe you lads in the UK have a better idea.

See I don't get the hate for Corbyn. If we'd had done what Corbyn suggested early last March, and locked down, we would have been better off.

I know he's a bloke who alienated a lot of voters and only convinced people who were already convinced by him anyway that he was any good, though. But think he's a decent man and much more decent than the ones we've got in power. Ultimately the Labour party went nowhere under him though.

Whether he'd have done a better job of this mess - I'm not so sure, we'll never know. But, it wouldn't have been hard, the bar isn't high, Pete.

But I know of at least 10+ who have died from covid and not all of them were old, fat and unhealthy.

I think this is a good shout.

There's clearly some insurance, hence why they have said they're still on target to get all the over 50s and vulnerable groups either fully done or their first jab by April 15th, and carry on with pre-booked second doses too, even with the shortage in AZ from India.

I've come to the conclusion he (or she ) lives in a shed in Antarctica. I know about 10 myself, 3 who have been hospitalised (my superb self included ) and thats not even including about the 70/80 my wife has treated, included the ones whonshe couldn't help who ended up in hospital and passed away over the last 12 months.

I must tell her though all that PPE she was wearing and all the stress and all the overtime she had to do was a load of crap and was worthless.

I'll remind my kids as well if I had passed away whilst in hospital with covid, it would have been cos I had the craps for a couple of days.

Sadly I can add to that 6 with Long covid , 2 of those very close that may suffer from it for the rest of their lives.

the UK has about 70 MILLION people lad

70 million, the number of healthy people who died out of that is so low you wouldn't fill a stand of prenton park

so I don't wear tin foil and shove it up my hole, I just have some brains

then I look at densely populated cities of Taiwan, Japan, Thailand and see little of no deaths

Like I said, many people in the UK are just brainwashed

My limited understanding is for every 1st jab given, a 2nd dose is kept in reserve for that person.

Otherwise, the effect of the 1st dose ends up effectively being wasted if the 2nd is not given in the required timescale.
