I am not denying people died but people die EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK on things and covid now is marked down on deaths even if people did not have covid, over 5 thousand such people actually according to the NHS.

Where was this scaremongering when there was excess flu deaths in 2017? Theresa May was not having her prime time calls to the nation telling us we are doomed and we cant step outside the door or we will get fined £2000

I think Borris and SAGE and Hancock are destring the land, and everyone is going to pay it back with taxes in years to come.

I am an Electronic Engineer and like data and figures to make sense as its what I do every day but none of this stuff from the government or the press make sense and hasn't for a very long time and its all sounding too fishy to me. I am not any anti vaxxer or whatever you call them as my passport is fully supplemented by vaccine jabs but this stuff is just gone stone bonkers, a few months ago we had a caller on GMB asking if Mutants enter windows - I mean this is the result of nothing but government hyperbole propaganda

The thing is mate, that it seems to have a way of finding people who are vulnerable for whatever reason and prematurely killing them. Like every single person I know who it’s killed.

Hopefully once all of this group have received both their jabs, things will start getting back to some kind of normality.

The other problem seems to be the people who don’t want the way we’re currently living to end and seem to be perversely enjoying it.

The tricky thing is trying to find a balance between the two.

I think there will be a lot more people than you could expect wanting to keep things as they are. While a very large majority will just let rip and try to get back to normal, WFH is now an accepted norm, and keeping a bit of distance and hand washing may also continue. Many have been made fearful and it will take a bit of time to coax them back into the world again.....

They aren't coming the other way because the UK contract forbids AZ from prioritising doses manufactured at the UK plants for other countries rather than the UK. If the UK says 'yeah, go ahead', then AZ can ship them wherever.

The EU contract, it appears, has no such clause 'protecting' themselves in that sense.

It's an EU cock up, and an AZ shortfall, being pinned onto the UK, because the UK have had the foresight - for once - to get as much ordered as quickly as possible.

No, they signed a contract which meant AZ were legally obliged to prioritise UK-manufactured doses over sending them elsewhere. Whether that's ethically right or not, well that's up for debate. Given the situation, it was the right thing to do for the UK.

They're showing themselves up to be what they are, and people have died because of it.
