It all continues in the right direction.....

I never really had an urge to sit in a park pre covid if I am honest. But that said, even though our lives here wont really be changed come what may, restrictions wise, it was nice to see a few more folk doing just that when I drove past it earlier today.

Will be nice to some kids playing footie at the weekend as well.

Oh yeah I'm not meaning to condemn them for it as such - it's to be expected. It was absolutely heaving down there today, like as busy as I've ever seen it when I drove past on my way home from work, but it's outside, plenty of space etc

Suppression through track and trace, social distancing and masks, and treatment of the virus through therepeutics are the armoury that we need to be leading with until we have a world where the vast majority have had vaccine pumped into it.
Track & trace may work in the developed countries ( if only that was right ) with all the advancement and technology they possess , but that will never work in the some of tight knit communities in the sub continent , many parts of Africa and South America.
Best of luck with masks & social distancing too.
Global vaccination is the ONLY thing to stop this horid virus.

I believe that's what I said at the beginning of this exchange....

...but, until that point, we require upping the game massively on the suppression of the virus.

This is not advising people to not be vaccinated, but some haematologists have noticed a possible drop in your platelets (that help your blood clot) that they hypothesis that this may be related to covid vaccination.
So whilst still getting vaccinated, if you notice, suddenly bruising easy, bleeding easy- it might be worth the GP doing a simple blood test, and there should be no long term concerns.
There's been no call to stop the vaccination programme, and the consultant disclosing this never said which type of vaccine.

I'm glad you agree on the vital importance of the vaccine's mate ;)
