Its very sad, but for a man who was very intelligent, he really made a massive error of judgement.
I mean it was Eat out help out, not travel across the country and go on holiday.

In no way would I say it was horrible gutter journalism, agenda driven, or patronising.I read this article earlier and thought it was horrible, gutter journalism to be honest. Real agenda driven and patronising.
Sunak? Its very sad, but for a man who was very intelligent, he really made a massive error of judgement.

Sunak yes, but mostly this poor fella.Sunak?
That's politically survivable in this country, because there's a majority here who think getting £10 off a plate of utter muck is a great idea...even if some catch a deadly virus.
Welcome to modern Britain.Sunak yes, but mostly this poor fella.
I mean I honestly didnt feel the need to "take advantage" of such a wonderful offer in the middle of a worldwide pandemic.
*Serious voice*Tragic, but he made an informed choice to go on a mini break, eat muck and chuck swill down his neck during a pandemic.
No one forced him.
Fella owned his own legal business.Welcome to modern Britain.
There's loads like him.
The point for me is that he may have made his own decision to dine out like that, but the tempatation was put in place by that gormless get Sunak...which, in turn, goes to a wider point about allowing last summer's Covid19 transmission festivities to be green lighted.
I’ve had a bit of a bug bear with the guardian for a while to be honest so I’m probably guilty of a bit bias. Think the emotive language and subject matter used in the article was all leading to political blame. Didn’t agree with the whole eat out to help out thing but the guy still went on a family holiday to another city and visited several bars and restaurants. It’s a tragic death and the government have been terrible with their handling and communication but individual responsibility also has to play a part in many cases. In no way would I say it was horrible gutter journalism, agenda driven, or patronising.
Or the variants can also dissipate like most of them have done.Ilve never said vaccine's aren't good. My point has always been: use them but dont get a rigorous track and trace system and keep socilaly distancing and it's a matter of time before variants will happen.
Lives were lost due to the eat out scheme, for sure and it was a massive error and Sunak quite rightly paid the price by losing his job and his massive salary, right? RIGHT?
A few dominos are beginning to fall on AZ and under 60s.
