Got to learn to live with it mate.

Hopefully once everyone is vaccinated , its suppressed to the point it ends up like the flu.
Nothing is gonna make it disapear.

If completely unchecked (no distancing, vaccines etc.) this is what would eventually happen as it becomes endemic and we gained herd immunity. Another seasonal respiratory virus. It will have happened in the past before we had the technology to know exactly what we were dealing with like we do now.

The vaccines will get us there quicker.

The vaccines aren't the answer. You surley know that it's only suppression of the virus and sustained social distancing that will contain it? Genuine question.

They are vigilant, but thats what they do. Every day, every year.

I have no idea where you get your info from, but I source mine from the folk who delivered the Vax, and consume their opinion on how this might play out.

This is crude first generation vaccine. As for believing the people who make it: they have skin in the game. Do you expect them to say any different?

Let's be clear: I'm saying the vaccines are worthwhile and will help. I am not defaming them. But it has always been the case that they are NOT to be seen as a panacea and that a change in behaviour is the only way to contain the virus because we cant get a vaccine that gives us a successful shot for life.

Trust me Davek if you haven't been to Auschwitz then you really don't know what went on there.
You can watch all the TV programs you want and read all the books you can but it's only when
you see it with your own eyes that you actually begin to realise what actually did go on there.
Possibly not the best comparison you could have made. But lets move on.
