I...
Can someone explain to me his logic here, I totally missed this. I genuinely can't make the link as to why a carton of milk would be relevant in any way.
Perhaps it's a concept that does not exist in reality. It is uncontested that past vaccines have helped establish herd immunity against infectious diseases eg smallpox and polio. To say herd immunity is 'a fiction' is ridiculous.
Better than my sister. I hope you've got your passport though for when you cross the border.Yer mar’s lol
Do they still sell milk in pints there? How retro.Well, Milk, right, so you get a pint of milk and then, you walk round with it and that's it really.
The UK Virus has one father: Johnson the butcher.Interesting read on the origin of the U.K. variant from origin to global domination.

How a coronavirus variant tore into an English island - and the world.
Genomic scientists raced against time to find out what was causing the deadly surge in cases despite a national lockdown.www.reuters.com
Is that a euphemism ? lolBetter than my sister. I hope you've got your passport though for when you cross the border.
The UK Virus has one father: Johnson the butcher.
His failure to get a grip of the situation in this country but rather give business and hospitality in particular free rein brought catastrophe not only on this island but on the rest of the world.
How does that vermin sleep at night nowing he's repsonsible for over a million deaths in the second and third waves?
Things look hairy with the SA variant in Europe right now. Close borders and any essential travel regardless of nationality has to be quarenteed, old measures on travel wont work. We have a warning right now, its important to act. We have to learn the lesons from the UK varient and not walk into this like we did in Dec and Jan. Im surprised this isnt getting more media attention. All eyes on vaccine spats at the moment, you wonder should we keeping all our focus on the virology here.

'kin ell.
It's a shambles.
Whitty again let the cat out of the bag the other day by saying we'd see surges in July or August. I think he must know that the vaccine "route out of the virus" is for the birds.
We are being chummied along from one crisis to the next; one surge and mass death to the next.
I've always thought the vaccines wont be the answer. The answer in behavioural change and tracking outbreaks and suppressing them. The next most uselful thing after that is to have better therepuetics to make sure when Covid19 is contracted it kills less and less people - that's where research cash should be going. The vaccines are a distant third after that, becauese they will always be a step behind variants that will make them practically uselsss.
A vaccine to stop illness every 4/5 months? That's a BS a strategy destined to fail.
That tweet isn't really factual though is it. The AZ vaccine prevents 100% of deaths from all known variants.
